So close so far

   virtual and silent       proscenium

                  “The transition from large surface area

                    to small and still large surface area

                      is made immediately and quickly.

                  The dimensions in size are variable”.

Physical distance, social and mental, are ingredients befitting of creation. The proscenium becomes the dividing line between the spectator and the staging. On this imaginary line is the screen that separates us from walking in the scene. The so near and the so far, besides being the basic concept of representation in situ, become mechanically the principle of photographic documentation, which has as a fixed positioning from the proscenium.

......  [A reflection on the immediacy of memory, a vision at the same time illusory and real, constituted by the coupling of screen images.

A closer examination will finally allow immense spaces to appear that invite the imagination to explore both monochrome and light.
