Synopsis

 

 

The film is a tribute to the first abstract films of the historical avant-garde that flourished in the early 20th century. 

 

Much of my artistic production at the turn of the '80s and '90s, will take inspiration from the artistic developments of abstract films to project them in a more current context in the manner of. ....... 

 

Far from the minimalist and serial concept, it was always the moving geometric image that interested me with its various framing and points of view.

 

In the film, the fixed framing on a square-shaped screen, enhances variations in slowness, clear initials to a final evanescent towards a clear gray defined. Outside the screen, the presence of the triangle the half of a square and the horizontal stripes, mnemonically refer to my first works of the series: line-strip-square, late 70’s.
